Mixing them well is very necessary and the best way to do it is to take the lid down from the container and pour it into another bowl and start to mix. Keep doing it until the washing powder dissolves properly.

Step 3. Dip the Sink Mat in The Cleaning Solution

Now take your sink mat and dip it in the solution, keep it for a few minutes and then start rubbing vigorously until the stains and dirt are completely removed. If the dirt doesn’t come off easily, repeat the process.

Step 4. Start Scrubbing the Sink

Now, scrub the sink mat with a sponge, and if it’s a rubber sink mat you can also use a toothbrush for scrubbing. To make dirt fall out easier, scrub with a non-abrasive sponge or microfiber cloth.

Keep spraying the solution we made in step one, and keep scrubbing until it’s fully cleaned.

Step 5. Rinse the Sink Mat

It’s time to remove the solution from the sink mat. Proceed by a rinse with some cool water, and wipe with a dry microfiber cloth to absorb the excess moisture.

Extra Tips: When the sink mats are dry, apply a little baby oil and leave for one hour. Then wash with dish liquid and leave to air dry. This will prevent the mat from drying and cracking.
